I wanted to share my favorite
5x shopping spots in my
Brooklyn neighborhood Fort Greene. Fort Greene is filled with interesting
people including; writers, photographers, artists and designers. So it is no
surprise that Fort Greene has some wonderfully curated shops to serve the
creative clientele from the neighborhood.
1. First on our list is
Gabriela De
La Vega. Gabriela is a jewelry designer and her store feature her jewelry as
well as a selection of hard to find clothing designers. Although the selection
is on the pricier side there is often a sale rack out in front that is
definitely worth taking a look at.
2. The second shop on my list is
Stuart
& Wright which always has the most on trend designers including A.P.C and
Rachel Comey.
3. If you are looking for gifts for the home Frosted Moon has
beautiful candles and soaps and a newly expanded store front.
4. For fun throw
pillows, modern home furniture and interior design accents check out
Yu
Interiors. 5. And if you happen to be in Fort Greene on a Saturday the
Brooklyn
Flea is great for vintage clothing, antiques and yummy food served up by some
of Brooklyn’s most innovative purveyors.
